Doseify stores the following information securely on your device:
- Medication names, dosages, and schedules
- Reminder times and preferences
- Profile information (name, avatar)
- Prescription images (when you use the scan feature)
- Dose history and tracking data
This information remains on your device. We do not maintain user accounts or store your health data on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to:
- Display your medications and schedules
- Send medication reminder notifications
- Track your dose history
- Process prescription images to extract medication details
- Analyze drug interactions between your medications
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal health information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Prescription Image Storage
When you scan a prescription, the image is stored securely on your device and remains under your control. Images may be securely processed to extract medication details.

4. Other Third-Party Services
Analytics: We use PostHog for anonymous app usage analytics (such as which features are used most). This helps us improve the app. No personal health information is collected through analytics.
Payments: In-app purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and RevenueCat. We do not store or have access to your payment information.

5. Data Storage and Security
- Your health data is stored on your device using Apple's built-in data protection

- If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed from your device

Doseify uses local notifications to remind you about medications. These notifications are processed entirely on your device and do not transmit data to external servers.
7. Children's Privacy
Doseify may be used to manage medications for children under parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all your data (it's stored on your device)
- Delete your data by deleting the app
- Export your data through device backups
- Disable notifications at any time through Settings
- Opt out of features that require external processing

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date.
